Volunteers for Hospitalized Veterans

Volunteers for Hospitalized Veterans, Inc. (V4HV) is honored to have served Colorado veterans since 1997. Today in 2024 V4HV continues the tradition of supporting veterans facing hardships who have specific financial needs.

Primary charitable activities
Finance the needs of individual veterans as identified and requested by VA staff or related veteran service organizations
• Host special events and support recreation therapy programs
• Supply needs of units, programs, and facilities of the VA, including clothing for the inpatient mental health unit which serves homeless veterans
Partner with other veteran service organizations to enhance care of local veterans

Who we are
V4HV directors include members of various VAVS Committee organizations including Sons of The American Legion, the Marine Corps League, The American Legion Auxiliary, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary as well as VA volunteers. Come see us at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center popcorn stand on Wednesdays!

MISSION STATEMENT

To serve veterans at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center and other units of the VA Health Care System in order to provide for the well being as well as financial needs of veterans. In addition we will support units and programs for the homeless veteran population.

Supporting Volunteers for Hospitalized Veterans helps Colorado veterans. Donations to V4HV are tax deductible.
